13 dpo - impatient!

I'm 13 dpo and noticed spotting a few times in ~24 hours ending yesterday (12 dpo) morning.
This is my first cycle TTC, so in all my TTA charts I really wasn't that careful about noting pre-AF symptoms. I consider my LP to be 12 days long - but I know that I always spot a couple days before the first real flow day, and I honestly can't remember (even after years) whether I determined 12 days based on first day of spotting or first day of real flow- I only recently learned you should only consider the latter to be CD1.
Soo like every other impatient TTC 10-14 dpo woman on the internet, I could either be having 1) totally normal pre-AF symptoms, I'll get AF any hour today/tomorrow, b) early pregnancy signs. And the only thing to do is wait. I feel pretty sure it's #1- we only had 1 day of well-timed BD because of a family visit- but I am so impatient to find out!!!

Well...still no AF, I spotted on 11 dpo, 12 dpo, 14 dpo, 15 dpo (not today). I took an ept (not with fmu) and think there's a very faint line but in the interest of full disclosure, when I showed it to my husband he literally laughed this kind/pitying "you have truly lost your mind" laugh (fyi- this is our first cycle TTC and we're in our 20s so stakes aren't super high atm).
I had mid-cycle spotting followed by what I thought was a slow rise. For as long as I've been charting (3 yrs), mid-cycle spotting happens the day before temp goes up. So now my options are: 1) I spotted earlier than usual and the slow rise wasn't a rise yet and I actually O'd a couple days later than I thought and I'm only 14 dpo, or 2) I'm pregnant and among the ~15% that don't have a BFP when period is missed. So the definition of unlikely...
I don't have any tests at home and I ordered wondfos hpt that won't be here until Tues. so my sanity goal is not to go and buy any other test, just wait and if AF doesn't arrive before the hpts do, I can retest then.

I also never got a BFP before 12 DPO and always started daily testing at 10 DPO. When I did get the BFPs at 12 DPO the were very faint until the next day, even using FMU. So a BFN at 12 DPO definitely does not mean you are out.

I wasn't even that bummed about being out this month when I thought I was getting my period a week ago, but now it's CD 51 and I'm just worn out wondering and want to start another cycle. I haven't had a cycle this long since I was just coming off of hbc in 2012. Typically they're 33-45, but definitely not what anyone would call "regular". The 5 days of spotting on and off (and I really mean spotting, only a few times a day on TP) beginning 10 days after mid-cycle bleeding is definitely not something I have ever experienced before. Seems like bad luck/weird coincidence that this would happen my first cycle TTC!

But now I'm finding info (from other users on here) that they could delay a period? Not like I-calculated-my-O-wrong "late" period, but actually a late period. AND that they can bleed. So...a third possible explanation for being 17 dpo with spotting around missed AF and BFN!
I know that I could make a doctor's appt, but I find discussing cycles with OBGYNs to be so dissapointing. They never seem to care about anything other than whether you're pregnant, on birth control, or have STDs. When I was 21 (before I read tcoyf) I told my OBGYN that I was concerned because I had "short cycles with alternating a heavy and extremely light period" and she didn't even mention that it was probably ovulatory spotting (which now with charting I know it is) she just said are you trying to get pregnant? and when I said no she wrote me a perscription for hbc and told me that when/if I did want to get pregnant, she'd give me clomid. I guess I understand their perspective, it's very logical and efficient, but I want to know what's going on!
