Nothing concrete but when I had my last pregnancy aged 36 I see from my notes comments about fertile cm and robitussin which weren't there for my previous pregnancy where I charted. So possibly I experienced the same thing?
Not sure if that's any use but thought I'd pass on my experience. Hope it helps!

That's hard to say. Hydration plays a big role in cervical mucus so making sure you are staying hydrated will help. Are you seeing thermal shifts in your temps around the time you see changes in your CM?

I still try to identify the cover line and usually can (getting a BBT at least .2 higher than the last 6 prior) but sometimes that thermal shift happens a day or two after the most creamy cervical fluid that I noted (i.e., never getting to eggwhite or even getting dry).

I was 39 when we started trying, and 40 when we started “really” trying (charting, OPK’s) and then got my BFP. My CM was what I would say “average” for many months after coming off the pill, but about 12 months after I came off the pill it started getting much more obvious near ovulation time. Could be it took my body that long to adjust. I had reduced my caffeine intake (as a dieuretic it can reduce your water retention), and was taking prenatal for a few months before. Also tried to drink more water, as I have never been a heavy water drinker. Not sure if all of that was what helped but you never know. We conceived about 5 months after I noticed the big change in CM.
