No apparent CM after miscarriage. Temps are not clear to me

I'm in my second cycle after a miscarriage at 8 weeks. I've been charting since I started my first cycle. My charts are not so clear to me, I seem to have had a temperature shift, but the high temps are very close to the coverline (is that normal?). Additionally, I was completly dry practically the whole cycle. For cycle two, things seem to be going very similarly, temperature is slowly rising (but not a drastic tempreature shift), for cycle two, I did have goewy " jelly like" sticky mucus, just once when I wiped on day 12 I think.
I'm wondering why I have felt so dry, and why the tempreatures seem to rise but I have no other fertility signs that I can notice. I'm 36 by the way, could this have something to do with my age rather than my miscarriage.
I would appreciate the help. Thanks!

Hydration can play a big role in CM production, so maybe try increasing your water intake to see if that helps at all. If you find you still need some help there, we do have a supplement, FertileCM, that's focused on helping to improve both the quality and amount of fertile CM you produce (and it can help strengthen the uterine lining) that you could take a look at.
Until you start seeing a bit more CM, have you considered adding in OPKs or other tools to help give you some advance notice about when you're nearing ovulation?
It may also be helpful to read through the most recent edition of Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler. She does give some feedback about how to find that possible thermal shift when you have a more gradual rise in your BBT readings.

I have the totally opposite problem - loads of ewcm and my body keeps on gearing up to ovulate but it doesn’t.
So tired of it not functioning how it used to X

This morning my temp spiked (yay!) so I think I’ve finally ovulated. Your vitex story is pinned in my head though and I’ll definitely get it if things don’t go right! X
