January 31, 2016 at 4:35 amHi, I believe I just had a v early miscarriage - temps were high / luteal phase was for about 16 days (previously only about 5!), I had unusually sore breasts after ovulation (the first sign that made me wonder) but irregular spotting throughout, culminating in my period starting, then intense cramps early this morning followed by massive clots - I have never experienced anything like that before. Since then the pain and bleeding has been a lot less and I don't feel unwell.
So I feel quite sure I have miscarried, but my question is whether it looks like it's a result of a luteal phase deficiency and therefore likely to happen again if I conceive? I charted cycles on another app prior to this and never got mid-cycle spotting before, now it's a regular thing! Though I didn't chart temps before so not sure of previous LP length.
I've had all the tests done at the docs (progesterone and prolactin apparently normal) and the one thing that appeared to be a bit abnormal was the thickness of the uterus lining, which I presume is / can be a cause or effect of LPD?
Sorry this is such a long post, would love any thoughts / to know about others' similar experiences and how you tackled.
Many thanks
