December 14, 2020 at 8:01 amIs it possible I could have ovulated on day nine? I usually do on 13 or 14, but my temperature already seems to have gone up. I got a positive opk on day 11 but not on day 12 or 13 (today). I'm so confused. I had an hsg test done on day eight, so maybe that messed things up?

December 14, 2020 at 9:56 amHi. It looks like there is another possible thermal shift on CD 12, but you would need another couple of days of higher temps before that can populate. I think there might be some confusion because of the missing readings every other day from the time you started taking your temps.

Since BBT is retroactive, I would wait a few more days before thinking ovulation had already occured on CD 9.

December 14, 2020 at 8:40 pmCd 12 would make more sense with my usual pattern, and with the opk tests. I've been getting only negatives yesterday and today, even though day fourteen is tomorrow and CM and other signs point to day 12. I would be really surprised if it happened on day nine; I just hope we didn't miss it because of the hsg test. Is the shift on day 12 large enough to be the real thing?

December 15, 2020 at 8:58 amThe shift from CD 12 to CD 13 is not a large enough shift on it's own from one day to the next, but one of our algorithms excludes one day, so when it excludes CD 12, it would fall into a possible ovulation day. Once you have a few more higher temps that should populate.
